Chris Keogh is the founder and director of Keogh Custom Building, a registered builder bringing more than a decade of experience in custom residential construction.

Beginning his career with a Melbourne builder specialising in architectural renovations and extensions, Chris developed a strong appreciation for the craftsmanship, planning and technical expertise required to deliver high-quality residential projects. Working on everything from complex renovations through to architecturally designed homes, he built a reputation as a skilled tradesman, problem solver and trusted member of project teams.

After years working across Melbourne, Chris and his young family made the move to South Gippsland, drawn by the lifestyle, strong sense of community and opportunity to raise their children in the region they now proudly call home.

Today, Chris leads Keogh Custom Building with the same hands-on approach that has defined his career from the beginning. He remains closely involved in every project, working alongside clients, consultants, trades and suppliers to ensure each build is delivered to the highest standard. What Chris enjoys most about building is helping clients transform ideas into reality. Whether creating a custom home, extending a family residence or breathing new life into an existing space, he thrives on solving problems, navigating complexity and helping clients confidently move through the building process.

Known for his approachable nature and clear communication, Chris believes one of the most important parts of his role is ensuring clients feel informed and supported throughout their project. Through regular communication, practical advice and honest conversations, he aims to make the building experience as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.

Chris is equally passionate about developing the next generation of tradespeople. Under his leadership, Keogh Custom Building has grown from a one-person operation into a close-knit team of skilled carpenters and apprentices who share the same commitment to craftsmanship, professionalism and continuous improvement. When he's not on site, Chris enjoys spending time with his young family, playing music, a game of snooker and exploring the food and wine offerings that make South Gippsland and the Bass Coast such special places to live. His vision for Keogh Custom Building is simple: to build exceptional homes, renovations and extensions while creating lasting relationships with clients, consultants and the local community.
